It’s been awhile since our last Wedding Wednesday post, but we’re making it up to you today with this gem of a wedding from one of our favourite Muskoka venues, Deerhurst Resort.
Today’s post is in honor of the bride and groom, Shannon and Martin, who will be celebrating their one year anniversary this coming Monday. Time sure flies! Shannon and Martin, met while opening up a restaurant together and the rest was history!
Their wedding took place on September 1st, 2013 and was quite the international affair, with friends and family from all over the world attending. Martin’s Swedish roots were highlighted throughout the wedding, which you’ll see during the ceremony when a touching Swedish blessing makes the groom a little misty eyed. Shannon looked absolutely stunning but was almost upstaged by their too cute for words son Max, who is quite the scene stealer.
