Here at Brightside Films, we’re always striving to be better by seeking the next best thing in wedding videography and really trying to challenge ourselves on the daily. Some recent examples of this would be our slow motion videography booth services and our latest creative outlet, real estate films.
Needless to say, the world of weddings is constantly evolving and in order to give couples what they want, vendors need to stay ahead of the game and on top of the trends. This is often easy enough to do while going to weddings every weekend but it also takes research.
This brings us to a new style of wedding videography highlight films we’ve discovered while doing said research. We love when wedding videographers think outside the box and this is nothing short of creative amazingness. The team over at Velare Imaginarium needed a wedding highlight film to match their super creative couple, Tim & Amy who are both artists. So after some thinking they came up with the idea of a reverse wedding highlight video!
The film starts with the late night reception and work its way backwards to the ceremony. How neat is that? The video is perfectly edited and pairs perfectly with the song they selected, by Devotchka. We’ve seen this technique in music videos such as The Scientist by Coldplay, but this is definitely different for wedding films.
