Late Summer Wedding Ideas

With Labour Day weekend here, school starting and the sun setting early, fall is right around the corner. Up in Muskoka cottage country, the leaves are already starting to brown showing early signs of a change in season. With that said, many couples with September weddings can usually expect late summer warm nights, but that’s not the case this year.

With a milder than normal summer, we can expect a cooler and early start to Fall this year. But don’t let the idea of a cooler wedding get you down! The key is to be prepared. An early Fall can make for fantastic wedding pictures and a more comfortable wedding experience without the sweltering heat we’re used to.

The best weddings are those that consider the comfort of their guests. So if you were counting on a hot September weekend for your wedding, we’ve put together a list of last minute additions to help you prepare for the cooler weekends ahead by keeping your guests warm. We should also note that a stiff drink, vigorous dancing and warm foods (um, smores bar?) always help too!

Let’s get to it!
