Oh, wedding season. Loved by many and loathed by others. If you’re at that sweet spot in age, every weekend this summer could very likely be taken over by weddings or by wedding related activities.
When you’re a serial wedding guest, you tend to start noticing patterns and stereotypical bad guest behaviour; the overly intoxicated brawler, the guest who brings a date last minute even though they weren’t given a plus one, the guy who doesn’t believe in marriage and is happy to tell everyone about it, the couple who show up with kid in tow despite it being an adult only evening. We’ve all seen them and we all know they always bring the drama.
Well, it seems this engaged couple decided to poke fun at stereotypical bad wedding guest etiquette with an “honest wedding invitation“. This hilarious passive aggressive invite has been making the rounds online this past week poking fun at those dreaded guests. It seems this couple have been to their fair share of weddings and took the liberty to have some fun with their invite. We can only imagine the fun they have in store for their wedding! OMG this is SO hilarious!!! I’ve never personally witnessed anything but I’ve heard from friends who have. My sister actually just told me about a bride’s father threatening the groom during his speech. Talk about awkward!
