You guys. I am legitimately obsessed with this wedding. When your career is essentially attending a wedding (sometimes 2 or 3) a week, everything starts to blend into one. But Ashley and Matt did such an incredible job with the small details, this wedding stands out.
Now for starters, I may be a little biased because there is a special place in my heart for a) confetti and b) balloons and Ashley and Matt’s wedding was filled to the brim with both. Firstly, have you seen that chain-link balloon wedding arch?! Like come on. That might be the coolest, more creative wedding arch I have ever seen. Next, the “dance, dance, dance” balloon wall. I’m in love. On to the confetti. Every guest had a confetti popper, you guys. A confetti popper!! Basically, walking down the aisle while my wedding guests make it rain confetti is the dream. Turn that moment into slow-mo (which we did) and that is one wicked shot. Not to mention, just a small, tiny item they included in their photo booth – a CONFETTI CANNON. I need this in my life for all of life’s big moments. Then we have a confetti cake (arguably the most underrated cake flavour of all time) and pinatas!!! Just the best.
I love what Ashley and Matt’s event designer, the uber talented team at Jessi Haack Design have done here. They basically took the stereotypical modern, clean wedding trend and turned it upside down and shook it around. The pops of colour, bohemian florals and geometric touches really added a super punch to the wedding and it reflects who these two are as a couple. Refined, classic with an added sprinkling of fun, flavour and style.
